Year 1 Teacher – Mrs R Wadsworth

KS1 Phase Leader, English, including Early Reading Lead and Religious Education Lead
I have been working at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School since qualifying as a teacher. I have a passion for learning through play. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy being outdoors, reading and crocheting.
Year 1 Teacher – Mrs N Routledge
I have worked at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School for 19 years. Initially, in the Nursery and now more recently main school. I have loved the journey I have taken over the past couple of years and I am excited to fulfil my dream of teaching children in a classroom environment. Fun fact: at 17, I flew a plane solo and at 21, I completed a sky dive.

I have worked at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School for nearly 23 years. I started as a swimming teacher and a higher level teaching assistant. I qualified as a teacher 6 years ago. I love open water swimming, spending time with my family and going for walks.
Year 2 Teacher – Mrs C Monks

Science Subject Lead
I have worked at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School for 9 years. I enjoy travelling and, before teaching in the United Kingdom, I taught in Thailand.
Year 2 Teacher – Mrs L Redfearn

Art Subject Lead
have worked at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School since qualifying as a teacher in January 2013. When I was younger, I was a competitive Allstar cheerleader. Nowadays, I coach cheer instead!
Year 2 Teacher – Mrs V Heaven
I have been a teacher here at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School since 2015. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors – we love to go camping! Fun fact: Mr Storch taught me when I was in Primary School.
Year 1 Teaching Assistant – Mrs A Barklem
I have been working in education for 23 years. For the last 7 years, I have worked at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School. I am passionate about helping young children learn and find my job very rewarding. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring outdoors with my husband and 3 children. Our favourite place to visit is the Lake District.
Year 1 Teaching Assistant – Mrs J Lacey
I have been working in childcare and education for 19 years and truly love what I do. It is such a joy to watch children grow, learn and discover new things every day. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my own children and family. I like to keep active by going to the gym.
Year 1 Teaching Assistant – Mrs J Foster
I have worked at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School since 2007. I particuarly enjoy supporting children during phonics lessons and enjoy running phonics groups. I have a passion for Speech and Language and love supporting children.
Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Miss E Hilton
I have been working at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School since September 2020. I enjoy helping children to learn. I also help with swimming lessons, work in after school club and support on the playground at lunchtime. I love going on long walks, listening to music and making people laugh.
Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Miss C Holder
I have been working at Ormskirk Church of England Primary School since 2015, and I have a background in I.T. Currently, I support in Year 2 and Year 6. Outside of school, I love being outdoors and I enjoy geocaching. I am also a Brownie Leader in the local community.
